Vitamix is one of the best blender brands on the market. They’re the undisputed champs in the blender game and for good reason. Their blenders are powerful, last forever, and come with an incredible warranty.

I’ve got an epic comparison to help you find the best Vitamix blender on the market.

I’ve spent the last couple of years researching, testing, reviewing, and sharing our opinion on every Vitamix blender on the market. Our team has tested 17 different Vitamix blenders and created super in-depth reviews on 13 of these because several of them are no longer available.

Picking the best Vitamix blender for you comes down to knowing what factors matter to you. We’ve looked at price, power, technology/functions, noise levels, and overall design. Factors like capacity and ease of cleaning weren’t as big of a deal to us.

We’ve narrowed it down to our top 5 Vitamix blenders that we recommend.

Here are our quick picks:

  • Overall best – The Vitamix E310 is the best value purchase. It has all of the Vitamix quality at a cheaper price point. If you just want a standard blender that will perform well, this is the one.
  • High Tech – The Vitamix A3500 is fantastic, but the high tech functions come at a price. If you are serious about blending, the touch screen, bluetooth, and programmable settings set this one apart for blending pros.
  • Most affordable – The Vitamix ONE is the cheapest Vitamix blender on the market. It’s not as powerful, but has the Vitamix durability and quality.
  • Quietest – The Vitamix Quiet One has all the power and effectiveness with none of the noise. This blender comes with a shield cover that majorly reduces noise.
  • Best Legacy – The Vitamix 750 is the best legacy Vitamix blender. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles like the others, but it has the classic Vitamix power and durability.

Reviewing All 13 Models to Find the Absolute Best Vitamix Blender

1. Overall Best Vitamix – Vitamix E310

The Vitamix E310 blender is a beast of a machine. The aircraft-grade stainless steel blades have an impressive 3-inch cutting diameter and will decimate the toughest ingredients.

The E310’s variable speed control and pulse function take care of everything from frozen desserts and smoothies to salsa and purees. Anything you put in it comes out with perfect consistency and texture every time! The pulse feature makes a great blender for cooking where you want your sauce, soup, or curry to have some chunks in it.

Sometimes Vitamix blenders can be pretty expensive. As you can see in the chart below, the Vitamix E310 is also one of the most affordable Vitamix blenders (#2 cheapest). That’s why we believe it is the best Vitamix blender for the value you get.

This blender is built to last – Vitamix is known for making some of the highest quality blenders on the market. You won’t need to replace this model in a hurry! With a 5 year warranty backed by Vitamix, this is a no brainer for one of our top picks.

The E310 comes with a smaller container, making it the best choice for cooks who work with smaller batches.

The Vitamix Explorian features 10 different speed settings, which can be adjusted using a dial to achieve the exact consistency you’re aiming for.

Things We Learned After Testing the Vitamix E310

We recently tested the Vitamix E310 and identified a number of key things to know. These are the kinds of insights you won’t read on the manufacturer’s box.

  1. You must ramp the speed up – This blender comes with a knob that you turn from 1 up to 10 for speed. The key is to slowly turn the speed up while you’re blending. If you start out at level 10, it won’t work well and might splatter all over your kitchen or the blades will get stuck. People talk online about how the blender doesn’t work. That’s a lie. Those people just don’t know how to work a blender.
  2. Great for small batches – The 48oz container is great for small to medium sized batches of food/smoothies.
  3. Loud as hell – Not gonna lie, the Vitamix E310 is loud compared to other blenders like NutriBullet, but that’s because it’s so much stronger. Relative to other Vitamixes, it’s below average in decibel levels.
  4. It moves – This blender is high speed and doesn’t have some of the modern tech of the newer blenders. This means that it sometimes will inch across your counter if you aren’t holding it in place.
  5. Clean right away – The self cleaning function of the Vitamix works incredibly well, but only if you do it right when you’re done blending. If you wait too long the food will have time to harden and get stuck.
  6. Container gets cloudy – One downside is that the plastic container gets cloudy over time. Even if you’re quick to wash and dry the container, it can get a bit hard to read the measurements.

Need convincing? Check out our Vitamix E310 blender review

Pros:

  • 10-speed settings – Choose from multiple speed settings to make the perfect blends for curry, hot soups, and everything in between. Minimum speed of 1,400 RPM and a max speed of 22,600 RPM – that’s fast!
  • Size – The 48-ounce container is perfect for blending medium sized batches of food.
  • Usability – The blender has a 4.5-foot cord providing a great range of movement in the kitchen.
  • Cleaning – Though not dishwasher safe, it is not difficult to clean the E310. Simply add some dish soap and use the pulse feature, and the E310 is ready to store or use again.
  • Price – As far as Vitamix goes, this is the most affordable model.
  • Made in the USA – Vitamix was founded over 100 years ago and has been based in Ohio since 1948.
  • Affordable – E310 is relatively affordable when compared to other Vitamix blenders.
  • Sturdy build – Made from metal and plastic, ensuring a premium, high-end blender you can depend on.
  • Reduced noise level – Compared to other blenders on this list like the Vitamix 5200, this is quieter.
  • Great For Hot Blending – Easily blends multiple servings of hot ingredients with no issue at all.
  • Premium Ice Quality – This blender is exceptional at making premium bar quality crushed ice in under a minute.

Cons:

  • Not dishwasher safe – The E310 is not dishwasher safe and needs to be cleaned using the dish soap and blend cleaning method.
  • No Preset Modes – There aren’t any preset options, so a bit of trial and error is required.
  • Bulky Design – It’s a big blender and needs to be stored on the counter because it’s too big for most cupboards.

2. Best for High Tech – Vitamix A3500

A3500

The Vitamix A3500 is one of the four models in the Ascent series, smart blender types that come with a whole host of modern technology. As a smart system blender, it offers a wealth of features to make it easier for the user to blend.

From wireless Bluetooth connectivity to the powerful motors that blend the hardest of food, it’s clear why the A3500 is so popular. It’s an easy to set up and user-friendly blender that packs a powerful punch. It comes equipped with a digital interface that makes it a whole lot more modern than previous versions.

The Vitamix A3500 is a great one for those who love to combine both technology and simplicity. This model makes processes like preparing smoothies and soups so much easier and more enjoyable.

For some food types, you won’t even need to cut it up in order for it to be blended easily with the stainless steel blades. It’s great for the harder food types like frozen desserts, making it perfect for the summer! However, it doesn’t come without faults. The metal blades are an attachment that makes scraping the bottom quite tricky (don’t remove the blades because it voids the warranty).

The high tech features of the Vitamix A3500 make it one of the best Vitamix blenders that we’ve tested. If you want a blender fully loaded, this is the best on the list.

This blender is even compatible with the Vitamix app – seriously cool! You can find 100’s of recipes and tips about what functions to use for specific recipes.

Things We Learned After Testing The Vitamix A3500

We recently tested the Vitamix A3500 and identified a number of key things to know. These are the kinds of insights you won’t read on the manufacturer’s box, but you can find even more in our full Vitamix A3500 review

  1. Tall and skinny container – This container is tall and skinny. Honestly, I wasn’t used to it because most Vitamixes are shorter and wider. It made it a bit tricky to do large batches of food since you had to push the food down with the tamper.
  2. Seriously high tech – I knew the Vitamix A3500 was advertised as the high tech option. I didn’t realize all that they built into this blender with the bluetooth functionality. If you like “smart” products, you’ll love using this. If you don’t, then you’re probably overpaying for functions you don’t need.
  3. Touchscreen is pretty cool – It seems like everything these days is now a touch screen. It felt a bit ridiculous to have a touch screen blender, but it worked really well for programming settings.
  4. Cookbook is helpful – We aren’t new to making smoothies, but the cookbook is actually quite helpful! It gives tips on what order to place your food into the blender so that it works most effectively.
  5. Massive – This is one of the biggest Vitamix blenders I’ve tested. It’s 15lbs and 17inches tall. It makes storing the blender a bit of a hassle. But they’ve packed a lot into this premium blender so it makes sense.

Pros:

  • Smart Functions – It’s got an impressive digital interface that is programmed with various exceptional functions to make your experience super simple.
  • Transparent Lid – This makes it a lot easier to see and gives you a better view of the blended ingredients.
  • High-quality Stainless Steel Blades – Premium quality laser cut steel blades provide a powerful, reliable and consistent delivery with every blend.
  • Powerful motor – As part of the Ascent series blenders, this one comes with a powerful 2.2 HP motor for excellence in breaking down all food types.
  • Long warranty – Comes with a 10-year warranty, providing great value for money.
  • High-quality technology – Self-detecting technology controls and container sizes.
  • Pulse feature – Help blends through the food evenly.
  • 10-speed variable speed control – Modify the level of blending from chunky to super smooth.
  • Programmable Timer – Conveniently use a timer to ensure you get the best results every time.

Cons:

  • Expensive – One of the more expensive Vitamix models to buy.
  • Plastic features – The plastic bodywork of the blender might be offputting for some who prefer a premium type of material like glass.
  • Problematic App Integration – There have been reports of problems connecting to the app with the touch interface. When using presets, it sometimes starts/stops unexpectedly (might be a safety setting).
  • Few container options: no additional containers means you will need to look into buying a set of containers.

3. Most Affordable – Vitamix ONE

Vitamix One

The Vitamix ONE is Vitamix’s first step into more affordable blenders, opting for a smaller, sleeker style that offers the same power for way under their standard price point. The ONE’s RRP is around $250, making it roughly $100 cheaper than the Vitamix Explorian, but are we sacrificing anything for that drop-off in the price?

The sleek, minimalist look of the ONE makes an immediate impression, and it’s clear to see that Vitamix has gone for style while paring back their bulkier, more comprehensive offerings.

The ONE has no hard edges, and its smooth, streamlined design sets it apart completely from its fellow Vitamix blenders. It has a single dial for controlling the speeds, which blends into the body of the blender perfectly and weighs only 6lbs.

The ONE is small and easily stored in a cupboard or tucked away on the worktop if limited kitchen space is an issue.

Vitamix markets the ONE more as a home use smoothie maker, as opposed to most of their models which are designed to be professional-level blenders for the home kitchen.

This is exemplified by the 890-watt engine, which, while perfectly adequate for most kitchen jobs, is around half of what a Vitamix engine usually boasts. This also means that it has a greatly reduced noise output compared to fellow Vitamix food processors.

The 32oz jug is a good size for generous batches of hummus and is narrow and tall, creating a powerful vortex to suck ingredients down when you’re blending. The jug is not dishwasher friendly but can easily be cleaned by hand.

If you’ve always wanted a Vitamix but have been averse to shelling out $400, then the ONE is a great opportunity to lock down one of these blenders. This is the most affordable Vitamix blender.

Pros:

  • Looks great – The stylish and minimal design is a welcome addition to any kitchen.
  • Value – More affordable price point for a Vitamix blender.
  • Compact – Smaller size makes it easier to store, or leave on the counter without taking up much space.

Cons:

  • Price – The price tag is still very high for the affordable blender market.
  • Limited speed control – Single dial for speed settings might be limiting.
  • Less powerful motor – Smaller engine size than other Vitamix food processors, but still plenty powerful enough for making hummus with ease.

4. Quietest – Vitamix Quiet One

the quiet one Vitamix blender

The Vitamix Quiet One is a formidable commercial-use blender with advanced noise reduction technology. That frustrating blender noise produced by your old-school blender – it’s gone.

People try so many ways to reduce blender noise, but this Vitamix blender has hit the nail on the head!

If you run a business and need quiet blenders to keep your customers happy and your staff sane – then this is the one for you.

This super-efficient countertop blender is the best quiet Vitamix blender you can buy. It’s fitted with exquisite noise reduction technology that helps alleviate that standard ultra-loud unpleasant and infuriating sound that everyone hates.

Most high-powered blenders range between 85 to 95 decibels at their highest speed, which is proven to be damaging to human hearing.

This Vitamix professional blender reduces noise to only 64db – the same level as an ordinary conversation. Pretty neat, right? If you need a quiet blender, this is a lifesaver. This makes it a great blender if you have a baby at home who you don’t want to accidentally wake up.

The reduced noise does not mean that you lose out on any of the awesome specs – it’s still incredibly powerful, reliable, and delivers exceptional and consistent blending every time.

Even though it’s quiet, it’s still plenty powerful. More powerful than most other Vitamix blenders.

Things We Learned After Testing The Vitamix Quiet One

We recently tested the Vitamix Quiet One and identified a number of key things to know. These are the kinds of insights you won’t read on the manufacturer’s box, but you can get it all in our review of the Vitamix Quiet One to get a deeper dive.

  1. Works exceptionally well – Nothing special to say other than that the Vitamix Quiet One gets the job done. It’s intended as a commercial blender so it can hold up to wear and tear and high usage.
  2. Hard to fit – The 64oz container + the soundproof case gives this Vitamix the largest footprint of all Vitamixes. You really won’t be able to put it away, so you’ll need designated countertop space.
  3. Quieter, but not quiet – This blender is quiet compared to other Vitamix blenders! It’s the Quiet One for a reason. But it’s still not going to actually be quiet.
  4. Clean right away – The self cleaning function of the Vitamix works incredibly well, but only if you do it right when you’re done blending. If you wait too long the food will have time to harden and get stuck.

Pros:

  • High-Quality Suitable For Commercial Use – Top brands like Starbucks use “The Quiet One Commercial Blender.”
  • Reduced Noise Level – 21% quieter than regular blenders.
  • Easy Pour Spout – prevent spills and messy cleanups with its precise, easy pour spout.
  • High-quality Parts – Made from high-quality metal and equipped with plastic secure sound enclosure.
  • 34 Quick-blend Settings – Easily select from a variety of presets to deliver the perfect smoothie, drink, or selection of your choice.
  • 6 Shortcut Buttons – Choose one of the smart shortcuts to help you create what you desire.
  • Powerful motor – It comes equipped with a 3-horsepower motor that makes it one of the most powerful blenders on the market.

Cons:

  • Premium Cost – It’s quite expensive, and maybe isn’t the most budget-friendly option.
  • Short Warranty – Warranty coverage of only three years.
  • Programming Errors Customers have reported some programming issues.
  • Not Dishwasher Friendly – The parts need to be hand-washed with dish soap.

5. Best Legacy Vitamix – Vitamix 750

750

The Vitamix 750 is a professional series blender that can blend pretty much anything you throw at it – within reason, of course.

It’s a commercial-grade blender that would keep up with the demand of any household that loves cooking recipes from scratch and not out of a packet! It’s been a popular blender for many customers since it came onto the market and continued to be a fantastic choice even with other newer models.

The Vitamix 750 is a great all-around blender that can blend pretty much anything typical household would need. Vitamix blenders are always extremely versatile, and this model is no different.

  • Stainless steel blades – Cut through food easily and are long-lasting. You can also sharpen Vitamix blades easily using a sharpening stone.

Cons:

  • Expensive blender – In comparison to other types, it might not be the best choice for those who are looking for budget-friendly options.
  • Noise level is particularly high – It’s not always the best when you want to do some late-night cooking prep.
  • Short power cord – It’s not versatile in stretching to other areas of the kitchen where there might not be an outlet to use.

7. Most Affordable Tech Model – Vitamix V1200

v1200

In the kitchen, versatility is key, especially if you want to make a range of recipes such soups, smoothies, margaritas, and more. Thankfully, the Vitamix V1200 features a range of blending settings, letting you quickly choose the one you need.

One of the first features you will notice is the digital timing function. This lets you select the ideal blending time for your frozen fruit, soups, or other recipes.

The variable speed settings and pulse features are also handy bonus features, offering you a way to blend your dishes to the right consistency.

This does mean that the Vitamix V1200 isn’t quite as beginner-friendly as some other blenders because the additional settings can be overwhelming.

If you are struggling with the versatility this blender provides, then consider trialing the auto-detect feature. This will automatically pick the ideal settings depending on the weight of the blender jar, so you don’t need to spend hours getting to grips with your new blender.

It can be slightly overwhelming for beginners, but once you have learned the ins and outs of each function, this is an excellent blending gadget!

Things We Learned After Testing the Vitamix V1200

When we tested the Vitamix V1200 we identified a number of key things to know. These are the kinds of insights you won’t read on the manufacturer’s box, but we’ve put it all in our Vitamix V1200 review

  1. Seriously high tech – I knew the Vitamix V1200 was advertised as the high tech option. I didn’t realize all that they built into this blender with the bluetooth and app functionality. If you like “smart” products, you’ll love using this. If you don’t, then you’re probably overpaying for functions you don’t need.
  2. Removable base is great – The V1200 comes with a removable rubber cover that goes on top of the base. This makes it super easy to clean the blender. All you have to do is peel the rubber off and rinse it in the sink.
  3. Personal cup is a bit tricky – The V1200 comes with a smaller container that can be used to make more personal sized smoothies. This is a great idea and it works well! The only issue is sometimes getting the V1200 to “recognize” the cup is difficult. You may need to tighten the blades to get it to work.
  4. Cup container is too tall – The 64oz container that it comes with is tall, which is great for making a large batch. The downside is that you may have to use the tamper a bit more to push the food down to get blended.

Pros:

  • Multiple blending settings – Ideal for a range of additional recipes and for finding the perfect thickness for smoothies or frozen drinks.
  • Self-detect technology – Will quickly select the ideal settings depending on the weight of your chosen ingredients.
  • Additional smoothie cup – The perfect size for creating smoothies to drink on the go.

Cons:

  • Advanced settings – Perfect for experienced chefs, the multiple settings can be tricky for beginners.
  • Inconsistent locking system – Sometimes requires a little more effort than usual to lock the container in place.

8. Budget Legacy Blender – Vitamix 5200

5200

The Vitamix 5200 was initially released in 2007 as part of the company’s C-series blenders. At the time, the 5200 was released as a more advanced version of Vitamix’s 5000 model, which was both dated and bulky.

Despite being 15 years old now, the Vitamix 5200 still stands as a popular blender option for those looking for a user-friendly model with big blades and a powerful motor. This blender features a 2.0 horsepower motor, which is strong enough to break down such ingredients as dry grains and nuts. It can be used as a coffee grinder as well as an ice crusher!

Plus, the product’s effective cooling fan prevents the machine from overheating when blending tough ingredients. Other smart features include its 64 oz pitcher, allowing you to blend large portions.

Check out our full write-up for more info: Vitamix 5200 review

Although it doesn’t feature a pulse setting, the Vitamix 5200 does feature a handy dial that makes switching between the 10 variable speed settings seamless. Another drawback of the 5200 is its height – with dimensions of 8.8 x 7.2 x 20.5 inches, the 5200 is still a bulky machine and, therefore, inconvenient when it comes to storage purposes. The 5200 is also one of the best blenders for hummus

Vitamix 5200
Power1380 watts
Price$$$
Capacity64 oz

Pros:

  • Self-cleaning feature – Like most Vitamix blenders, the Vitamix 5200 has a self-cleaning function. All you have to do is fill the blender with warm water (not hot water) and dish soap and set the powerful motor to its highest setting.
  • Stainless steel blades – The Vitamix 5200 comes with steel blades that ensure that food can be blended sharply and with precision. No matter what you’re blending, whether it be nuts or dry grains, this Vitamix blender can blend it within minutes.
  • Safe – The blender comes with safety fans and sensors which ensure that it doesn’t overheat. There’s also an overload sensor, which will automatically shut down the machine if it senses it has been blending for too long.
  • A versatile product – Not only can the Vitamix 5200 be used to blend smoothies and grind coffee beans, but it can also be used to make hot soup, making it one of the most versatile blenders on the market! The blender’s sizable pitcher also makes it good at blending both big and small batches.
  • Easy to use – You can easily adjust speed and blending power by turning the dial. Unlike some of the later Vitamix blenders, the 5200 doesn’t feature a touch screen, which makes it easier to use.

Cons:

  • Expensive – While it’s not the most expensive Vitamix, it still ain’t cheap.
  • Bulky – Storing the Vitamix 5200 isn’t easy as easy as blenders like the Vitamix E320 because it’s too tall to fit into low-hanging kitchen counters.
  • Loud – As seems to be the norm with Vitamix blenders, the 5200 is pretty loud.
  • No pulse feature – The Vitamix 5200 doesn’t feature a pulse, which gives you less control over how the machine blends. However, the rate and speed at which it blends can be altered by turning the dial, which makes up for a lack of pulse.

9. Best for Programmable Settings – Vitamix A2500

Vitamix a2500

The Vitamix A2500 is one of the most effective Vitamix blenders on the market today. It’s not cheap by any means, but it’s still a more affordable option than some of their other blenders.

Professional tier blenders generally aim to offer slightly more raw performance and power than their cheaper models, and this is true with the Vitamix A2500. The stainless steel Vitamix blades are some of the best-crafted blades on the market – capable of cutting through anything.

We tested this fantastic blender with a range of hard ingredients such as beets and frozen fruit, and it blended them all with ease.

The included digital timer function is a handy feature, especially if you plan on leaving this blender to run while you focus on something else. This also works alongside wireless detection technology to offer a surprisingly accessible system.

In terms of cost, as you might expect from a professional-tier option, this can get fairly pricey. Thankfully, you can generally find a certified reconditioned Vitamix A2500 from most online stores so you can save yourself some cash.

10. Vitamix 5300 Mini-Review

5300

The Vitamix 5300 is one of the powerhouse blenders by Vitamix. It’s strong enough to handle any of your blending needs from smoothies and margaritas to baby food and soup.

Its powerful high-performance motor can make short work of any veg you throw its way, especially once they have been boiled with stock. The pulse function found on the Vitamix 5300 offers you a simple way to make chunkier soups, perfect for cozy nights in.

Hidden inside the base of this blender is a powerful motor that propels the blades with incredible force. However, during our testing, we quickly realized how loud this classic Vitamix machine can get, even on medium settings.

Luckily, its array of useful features, such as a 64-ounce blender container and the multiple speed options, more than makes up for this. It even comes with a 7-year warranty, which you can find included alongside most Vitamix blenders. The combination of power, durability, and price make this one of the best Vitamix blenders you can buy today.

Whether you plan on opening a soup kitchen or you just want a reliable blender for your home kitchen, this is the one for you! We’ve put even more info in our Vitamix 5300 review if you still aren’t sure.

11. Vitamix 7500 Mini-Review

7500

With its 64 ounce container and stainless steel blades, the Vitamix 7500 is suitable for both personal and commercial use. Its large hardened plastic container makes cooking in large quantities a breeze.

You’re not limited to juices; from soups and sauces to smooth purées, this blender’s pulse feature offers you maximum versatility. With variable speed control, there are ten different speeds to choose from, allowing you to achieve your desired texture with ease.

You can layer coarse chops to achieve complex and delicious textures, making this blender ideal for professional or semi-professional chefs.

The hardened stainless steel blades are also air-craft grade quality, so there’s truly nothing that you can’t blend!

Addressing previous complaints about the 5200’s noiseiness, Vitamix’s design team added noise-dampening technology to the 7500. This means that customers can enjoy the same horsepower without the disruptive noise output; the Vitamix 7500 is up to 40% quieter than earlier models.

Pros:

  • Large container – If you’re batch cooking or feeding a family, you’ll be thankful for the 7500’s 64-ounce container. It is comparatively larger than other models on the market, while still being neat enough to fit in most kitchen cabinets.
  • Self-cleaning – To clean the Vitamix 7500, you can simply add a small amount of dish soap and warm water and let the blender run for 30 seconds. Say goodbye to frustrating cleanup with this high-tech blender from Vitamix!
  • Variable speed control – Whether you’re making fresh juice or blending a soup, the Vitamix 7500 offers 10 different speed controls, including a pulse function.

Cons:

  • The bulkiness of the large container – Though the 64-ounce container is great for cooking in bulk, it does take up a little more space. If you’ve got a small kitchen with limited storage space, a more discreet model is probably a better choice.
  • Price point – Costs a great deal more than a traditional blender which could arguably do the same job for a fraction of the cost.
  • Accessories not included – Useful accessories like a smaller 32oz container and scraper are sold separately, further driving up the price.

12. Vitamix A2300 Mini-Review

A2300

The Vitamix A2300 is a fantastic blender if you work in a large commercial kitchen or are just looking to blend large quantities. The included blender container offers 64 ounces of blending capabilities, suited to large batches of soup and similar dishes.

In terms of blender features, this professional-grade system offers a host of features that chefs are sure to appreciate. The vast array of speed settings may be confusing to beginners, but it’s an excellent addition to any blender design for those who need it.

On top of this, you can also find a pulse feature that is simple to use and provides the perfect setting for chunky sauces such as salsa.

You can also find Vitamix’s new wireless technology built into the base of this blender. This can be useful if you don’t plan on going back to the kitchen any time soon, but for most people, it’s just a nice little bonus.

Perhaps the main letdown of this high-volume blender is its cost. When comparing this blender to similar options on the market, the asking price can seem fairly high.

Overall, this durable machine is an excellent option if you plan on blending large quantities of food at once. The price may seem high, but with its vast array of features and professional design, this blender is worth the asking price.

We’ve tested every Vitamix, including this one, so be sure to check out our Vitamix A2300 review for more info.

13. Vitamix A3300 Mini-Review

A3300

The Vitamix A3300 is a sturdy full-size blender. It uses cutting-edge ascent technology that adjusts performance when blending based on certain factors like jar size etc.

This revolutionary blender from Vitamix is revolutionary, high-tech, and deserving of a place on the list of best blender for frozen drinks. Retailing at around $600, it is definitely much more expensive than its competitors, however the features that this blender boasts are unparalleled. It is by far the most high tech with built in bluetooth and an app.

On the Vitamix app, you can select various presets such as ‘Baby Food,’ ‘Nut Butters,’ or ‘Frozen Desserts.’ It has an impressive multiple-setting speed dial, a timer, and a start/stop button. It also has various other presets that are only found on the app.

The attractive and modern design is easy to wipe clean, with no unnecessary buttons or dials, but touchscreen controls. With a range of speed options, you can alter this to cater to your personal preferences. The programmable timer also aids this, as timings for custom recipes can be saved so you can make your frozen drinks the same way every day!

It pairs with self-detect containers, forcing the base to slightly alter the blending process. Depending on the container size, the intelligent motor base will change timings for effective blending.

When you’re done blending, simply add soap and water, switch on self-cleaning for 60 seconds, and your blender is as good as new.

Compared to other Vitamixes, this blender is pricey, but it’s much more high-tech and offers more helpful features than the others.

Overall it’s a really powerful, easy-to-use blender that can handle all your blending needs – from hot to cold, chunky to smooth. It’s more than capable!

Vitamix Series Overview: What Makes Vitamix Blenders Different?

Vitamix has three lines of blenders: Ascent, Explorian, and their Legacy line. The Legacy line contains some of the classic Vitamix blenders that made them who they are today.

Over the last five years, Vitamix has expanded their product lines to include both budget and luxury offerings. The Explorian series is their budget line while the Ascent series is their luxury line.

They also recently introduced an even cheaper option, the Vitamix ONE blender.

Ascent Series

The Vitamix A2300, A2500, A3300, and A3500 all offer very similar performance and features. They’re both powerful blenders that are good enough to be used in professional settings. Regardless of the model you choose, you can be sure that your device is going to have exceptional blending capabilities.

The Vitamix Ascent series blenders all have the same motor, container, and warranty. They also all have dishwasher safe containers.

Legacy

Vitamix was founded on the success of the Legacy series. Incredibly quality. High performance. Easy to clean.

The legacy series was one of the first high end blenders. It was far and above every other blender brand and model that existed at the time. These legacy blenders are still incredible purchases today. They don’t have the bells and whistles of the Vitamix Ascent series. They’re also a bit more robust than the Explorian model.

If you want the standard Vitamix power, durability, and quality without all the fancy functions then a Legacy blender is right for you.

Explorian

The Vitamix Explorian series started with the Vitamix e320, which has been replaced by the Vitamix E310. In our opinion, this blender is the best Vitamix for the price!

The Explorian series was introduced as a budget friendly Vitamix option that still has all the quality.

The main difference between the Explorian series and the Ascent or Legacy is the lack of high tech options and the slightly older motor. It’s got 2 horsepower instead of 2.2.

Vitamix ONE

The Vitamix ONE blender was launched on their 100 year anniversary as a company! The wanted to create an entry level Vitamix that was affordable and still had great quality. This machine is more sleek and slender in it’s design. It also has a smaller footprint and a streamlined design.

The Vitamix ONE has all the power to handle your typical smoothies, dips, sauces, etc.

However, it’s not intended for heavier duty blending lot hot soups, grains, or nut butters.

Buyers’ Guide: How to Pick the Best Vitamix Blender for Your Kitchen

There’s a lot to consider when trying to nail down which Vitamix blender is best. The most important criteria we looked at were: price, power, capacity, and overall quality.

Power and Speed

Blenders can be measured in terms of wattage, RPMs, or horsepower. Each of these quantifies how powerful the blenders are. We did our best to convert each of these data points to horsepower so that we can compare apples to apples.

The more finely/smooth you want whatever you’re blending, the more powerful of a blender you’ll need.

power comparison

The good news is that Vitamix blenders are known for being the most powerful on the market.

The Vitamix 5201 is the most powerful on our list, but it’s a commercial blender. The next strongest is the Vitamix The Quiet One. We’ve done a full breakdown of how many watts each Vitamix has that you can check out with more info.

Price

If you’re looking for an affordable blender or are on a tight budget, you do not have to sacrifice quality to get what you’re looking for.

Vitamixes are known for being the best blenders on the market and it can come at a cost.

Before buying, you should assess your budget and consider what your priorities are when it comes to features. High-tech appliances are great, but may only offer impressive features that do not actually serve you well.

price comparison

As you can see, the Vitamix ONE is the most affordable blender on our list. The Vitamix E310 is the cheapest “standard” Vitamix blender.

Capacity

Blenders come in a variety of sizes. Most Vitamix blenders come with 64oz of capacity, while a few of them are slightly smaller.

As you can see in the chart below, the Vitamix 5201 has a massive 192oz blender container. This is obviously meant for commercial use.

capacity comparison

Materials & build quality

It’s incredibly important to consider the quality of a blender. You don’t want to be stuck with a low-quality blender that cracks or breaks after minimal use! These blenders are built to last, but you should still do your part to maintain your Vitamix so it lasts.

You should pick a blender that has stainless steel blades and come with a hard plastic or polycarbonate casing.

If you want to blend dry ingredients like coffee beans or flour, a dry container might be right for you. Check out our full guide on Vitamix dry vs wet containers for more info.

Do your diligent research to ensure your blender doesn’t crack under pressure when it’s put to the test. Vitamix has different ‘series’ of blenders so it could be good for you to dig into which one is right for you!

The good news is that Vitamix offers an incredible 10 year warranty for most blenders so even if you have issues, you can always get them fixed.
