These 16 Magic Bullet smoothie recipes are exactly what you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle!
You just have to be careful using too much frozen fruit and to make sure you use enough liquid.
Tips for Making Magic Bullet Smoothies
We’ve been using our Magic Bullet for almost a year and we absolutely love it! These are some of our quick tips to help you learn how to make the best Magic Bullet smoothie recipes.
- Use Greek yogurt – Greek yogurt is one of the our favorite ingredients because it’s high in protein, low in fat, and helps you make creamier smoothies.
- Avoid ice – Magic Bullet blenders are not meant to crush ice! Avoid Magic Bullet recipes with ice. Ice isn’t the only way to make thicker smoothies!
- Skip the frozen fruit – Magic bullets have low wattage for blenders so you’ll want to avoid using frozen ingredients.
- Use enough liquid – Magic Bullet blenders can get easily overheated if you don’t use enough liquid. If your Magic Bullet stopped working then you may need to use more liquid.
- Make a big batch – If you’re rushed in the morning and don’t have time to make smoothies every day, make a few batches in a row! We’ve tested it and found that smoothies last in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Common Questions About Making Magic Bullet Smoothies
Magic Bullet blenders are great for making personal sized smoothies! I highly recommend using it for simple smoothies without frozen fruit or ice.
Magic Bullets can blend frozen fruit, but I don’t recommend it. The blades will wear out and the smoothies won’t blend as well.
You can blend oats in a Magic Bullet! The key is to soak the oats for half an hour or so before you blend them. That will help the oats soften and get blended up more easily.
You can blend celery in a Magic Bullet! I recommend cutting the celery into one inch chunks so that it blends most effectively.
Magic Bullets can blend frozen bananas, but the weaker motor might not be able to blend them perfectly. You may find some thicker chunks in your smoothie.
